First, I'm going to go and put the dinner on. A yummy fish pie - not very Christmassy, but yummy all the same. Then I must make a confession. I have never actually sat and sewn down the binding on Chocolates for Christmas, or on Christmas Stars, so that's what I'm going to do next. Together with a good dvd.
Would you believe I saw this film for the first time a couple of months ago? I know, I know, I can hear you saying "where have you been?" but there we go. I've seen it now and love it, and think it would be just the thing to watch while I'm binding.
Usually takes me a long tome to bind quilts too! Not sure why I always put it off??? I LOVE that movie! I'm so glad you finally saw it? How did you go that long?? :-)
ReplyDeleteWhat a nice combination movie and binding. Good thought.
ReplyDeleteYour pie sounds good. We have salmon pie here that's great. It's a Wonderful Life is a nice movie, especially the first few times you view it. Have a nice, restful evening.
ReplyDeleteOK I know I'm late to the party, but I'm here now ready to go sew! (t didn't rain!) I love sewing binding down!
ReplyDeleteYou'll love the movie and what a great way to watch it, while binding.
ReplyDeleteI always have a box of tissues ready when I watch this movie! I love to sit and work on bindings. It gives me a good feeling of completion.
ReplyDeleteI watched that movie the last month during the Quilt-Along.
ReplyDeleteFish Pie. Mmmm. Apple pie sounds better. I have never had fish pie.
I love to watch movies while sewing on bindings... makes the time go faster!
ReplyDeleteThat is my all time favorite movie...I have to watch it every Christmas....
ReplyDeleteI have to ask....what is Fish Pie?
ReplyDeleteOkay..I'll say it..fish pie sounds GROSS! lolol
ReplyDeleteOMG I've never seen that movie. If you say it's good then I'll watch it next time it's on.
