So now I'll never know ....

.... why there is a scientist in the nativity play!

Today and tomorrow Chatterbox's school were performing their nativity play, and  Chatterbox was playing the part of a scientist, complete with white coat and safety gobbles (as he used to call goggles when he was little).  Sadly he has managed to develop a really awful cold over the weekend, and didn't go to school today.

I'm also due to go down south on Wednesday for Little Person's first school play, but listening to the weather forecast for the last half of the week, there is a serious risk that if I go I might get snowed in, so I am paying far more attention to the forecasts than I usually do.

  1. Maybe the scientist was hired by the Wise Men to keep the Myrrh and Frankincense seperated. As a wife of a medical scientist...this cracked me up. Thank you for the smile of the day, Sue!
Hope the little scientist feels better soon!

  13. I my opinion, there is nothing like a Christmas pageant, put on by children, to get me in the Christmas spirit. I'm going to one this Wednesday....my granddaughter is the gingerbread MAN! Take care Sue.

  14. Lucky you. School plays are so much fun to see. The children are too adorable. But I don't know where a scientist comes in either. Hope the weather holds out for you.

  15. Oh...too bad to miss the play!!

I would have like to know what the Scientist had to do with it as well!

Do your schools allow for 'Nativity' plays? Ours no longer allow it. It's all about Santa's and snowmen. Unless you homeschool. Just another reason why we do!

Hope everyone gets feeling better and the snow behaves for you!

hope you don't get snowed in. I know what's its like to be glued to the forecast. Was stuck in PA last year for 2 unexpected nights in a bad hotel, lol.
