Ooooohhhh (and giveaway update) …

24 copies of my book.  I am so excited - could you tell?  

To celebrate, I have decided to keep the giveaway  for a $50 gift certificate from 1Choice4Quilting open until the end of this week, so I will close it at midnight on Friday 22 July and announce the winner on Saturday.  To enter the giveaway you need to go to 1Choice4Quilting and choose the four fabrics you would use to make the quilt on the cover and then leave a comment here, telling me which four you would choose.

  3. So that's your activity for the rest of the day sorted - stack the books, hug self, stroke the books, grin broadly and do a little dance, re-arrange the books.

    Repeat all day until face aches & Mr Fixit confiscates all books so he can have some tea.

Love it - I'll just list one batch of 4 fabrics that I would pick to go with that new book from the strawberry fields line - strawberry blooms pink, then the green polka dot, then floral berry flowers yellow, then add the moda bella solid - betty's pink.     four fabrics? I've been wanting to make a solid fabric quilt so I would have to get some Bella solids and I would choose kansas red, grey, snow and black. thanx for the chance!

  26. congrats...and I am sew excited for you...and this is appealing to me...since I usually do make my quilts in 4 colors...I love scrap quilts but I also like the simplicity of 4 colors..for me it will be red and whites...and turquoise and bit of yellow..

    I love the quilt on the cover of your book and would do it in Amelia Lavender, Baby Pink (it's more light lavender/purple on my screen), Feather, and Baby Yellow.

  33. Picking out the fabric for a quilt is the hardest yet fun part about making one. I would pick the fabric from the Grace By 3 Sisters line, Christmas Natural, Paisley Roses, Chirstmas Brown and Grace Evergreen. Thanks for entering in your drawing!

  37. I think I would use Strawberry fields line. I would use the floral red, lt green polka dots, floral berry flowers yellow, not sure the 4th color=either a solid or strawberry blooms red.

  38. For the center diamonds, I would use The Amelia Lavender and Pink, then for the other sections Spirit Solace Daisy and Strawberry Fields Floral Berry Flowers Yellow.
