Help wanted ...

I need one or two willing and unpaid volunteers who would be willing to test a couple of patterns for me.
Girl Sewing Quilt Clip Art

A friend wants to sell them in her pop-ip shop and obviously I am thrilled at the idea, but there is a snag. The designs have never been written up as patterns as I just drew them up in EQ7 and then made them up as I went along, so this is where I am hoping a couple of you might step in to the breach.  Is there anyone out there who would be willing to test the patterns for me? My friend Scrappy has already volunteered, but I can't expect her to do everything.

The two designs are Red Sprinkles and Wimbledon Squares and could both be done from jelly rolls, FQs or even scraps from your hoards.  Both quilts are quite simple to make, and the main requirement is that you would need to be able to set to work quite quickly.

  1. Hmmm...I suppose distance might be a bit of a problem...What sort of deadlines are you looking at so that people know?

  2. I am interested but have the same questions as Nancie Anne.

  3. It looks like you already have your volunteers, but if you need one more let me know. We would just have to make the quilt top flimsy right away, right?

  4. The patterns look like fun and I hope you find your volunteers. My arm is still bothering me and am having to cut back quite a bit on my sewing and quilting. So sorry I can't help out.

  7. Same problem as some of the above as I am so far away, but would be happy to help if you want me to. Let's know what is involved and when they need to be finished. I've certainly got the fabric, as moving house with a stash is scary.
    Take care.
