How do you know ...

... when it's time to stop sewing for a while?

When you find yourself telling someone you'll meet them at two and a half instead of two thirty!

Oh, and just in case you're wondering, yes I actually did that once.

  1. Really that is when it is time to take a break? I thought it was when you look up and realize that DH just walked in the door and you have not left your sewing machine all day other than for a bio break or to get a refill of coffee.

  2. And all of this time I thought two and a half (or half past) was an English way of telling time.

  8. Cute! I actually have a watch taped on to the front of my machine and try to limit my time a bit so I won't cease up at the machine!

  10. On St. Patrick's Day, we quilted until we wilted......12 hours of fun and stitches. It may have been a little too much, for some, but I hears=d one lady ask if she could come back tomorrow? Of course! Why not? And last fall, we all decided our retreat to Palouse Divide Lodge wasn't quite long enough. We didn't want to come home! Gosh. I don't know when enough is enough!
