.... pick it up and all the day you'll have good luck. Well that's the old rhyme anyway, so will I have five days of good luck since I found a 5p piece?
We are only supposed to pick up a penny if it is heads up and not tails. I don't know what the other side of your coin looks like. I pick up pennies whether they are heads or tails up.
best of luck with your good luck trust you get 5 days worth.the part of the UK we come from I used to say pin too not penny maybe depends from . Mind you I spend plenty of time picking up pins but not noticed a change in my luck
I don't know how long the luck lasts, but my mother always told us when we were little to never be too proud to pick up a penny. I'm still doing it:) Hope your luck is holding out.
Di always thought it was "see a pin and puck it up etc etc etc
ReplyDeleteHope your day turns out to be a wonderful one!
ReplyDeleteHope it comes true for you and have a good week.

ReplyDeleteAnd the rest of the rhyme is "give the penny to a friend and your luck will never end"! ;-)
ReplyDeleteFive is better than one! I say the same rhyme when I find a penny.
