Good news, bad news and an announcement.

The good news is that Mr Fixit has gallstones.  The bad news is that Mr Fixit has gallstones.  This is good news, as the suspicion was that it might have been cancer.  The bad news is that he now has to have 2 operations to firstly remove some which have escaped from his gall bladder, then he will have to have his gall bladder out.  It could have been so much worse though.

Now the announcement.  SewCalGal is having A Golden Quilter awards ceremony.  Here is what she says on her blog here:

  4. Poor Mr Fixit, he's been in the wars. Give him our best and I hope he gets the surgery out the way soon so he can get on with getting better! At least you can draw a line under it when that's done. Take care of yourself too!

  5. I hope the ops go well and Mr Fixit has a speedy recovery. At least you know what it is now so it won't be as worrying as it might have been. Take care.

  12. Well gallstones are better than cancer but still no treat esp. with having to have 2 operations. Hopefully things will go well and Mr. Fixit will be one the road to recovery soon.

  13. Bummer that some of the gallstones have got away. I had keyhole surgery for gallstones about 5 years ago. It's not bad at all - I was out the same day. I hope the other op goes well for him too.

  14. So sorry to hear about your husband but it is good that you can look at the positive side of it. Hope he will be feeling better soon.
