Christmas Quiltalong post 3

Just so you don't think I'm slacking, this is a sneaky peek at what I'm doing now.

I got a late start today as I needed to take my father into town.  When I got home it was such a glorious day, with blue sky, sunshine, and temp in the mid to high 60s that I faffed around outside, had a coffee out there, etc and didn't start QAL-ing until about midday.  OK, so, having made all my excuses, I am still very happy with what I have achieved.

Now it's 8.30pm and I'm getting tired, so I'm going to say goodnight and curl up in front of the TV.  I hope everyone else is still having fun and getting everything done that you wanted to.

  1. Looks great.....uhhmmm....what is it? Some days are just too nice to stay inside no matter what else there is to do. Glad you got to enjoy some sunshine today.

  2. Wow you really have been busy. Tidying up, sewing stars and a mysterious something. We also had fairly nice weather and I didn´t start sewing til 9:00 p.m. It was just to nice outside. Have a wonderful Sunday.

  3. You are such a tease! Couldn't you have just turned a tiny corner over for us to see? Love the marbled green though.

  5. I need a translation: What's "faffing" around outside? I would say "piddling" or "poking" if I were just strolling around the yard taking stock and checking on plants and general things on the exterior of your house and outbuildings. Does faffing mean that?

  6. Hmmm It looks like I can leave a comment on this older one but not the new one now but yesterday it wouldn't let me leave a post on this one so that's an improvement. (BTW I use Chrome)
