FMQ progress
I can definitely see progress here. I bought some gloves at the weekend, as several of you suggested, and I think they helped. The first photo is the front, and the second shows the back. My stitches are beginning to be a more consistent size, shame I can't say the same about my loops! All in all though, I'm feeling optimistic today that one day I might become almost a passable quilter.

Practice makes perfect, and I think you're going great! The gloves should definitely help. Once you have it mastered, you can come give me some lessons.
ReplyDeleteI think they look marvelous!
ReplyDeleteI read somewhere that writing your name in cursive is a great way to learn FM, Lots of loops in a name and you already have the muscle memory. Looking good!

ReplyDeleteI can already see a difference and you're still only on Lesson One. Well done you :-) And well done for sticking at the first set of exercises and not moving on until you have the foundation skills.
ReplyDeleteHow's the punctured finger?
You are way ahead of me in my FMQ efforts. Some people make it look so simple....and then I try to do it! Keep up the good work, I think you will become more than passable, you will excel!
ReplyDeleteI can't use gloves....great going for keeping at it.
