......... attempts does it take to make one unit like this when you're trying to do it without having to make a template?
Answer? Quite a lot. I got there in the end though.
Mind you, I would rather not hear anyone saying they think it would have been quicker with a template. I know it would, but my middle name is Stubborn.
.....and your first name would be...Gotta Be? haha!! Can't wait to see the finished project!! YOu silly girl you!
ReplyDeleteI did the same thing! Thank you for joining me. I'm so glad I'm not the only one. I remember thinking that they shouldn't be so hard, but finding out they were tricky.
ReplyDeleteGolly! What a pain the the rear that angle was!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you finally figured it out. Personally, I don't care much for templates. You already know how much I LOVE my rotary cutter!

Templates are for the birds. Once you have worked it out it will be all clear sailing from now on!

ReplyDeleteYeah, I've made stacks like that before too. I paperpiece all weird angles now.
ReplyDeletePleased you got there in the end - you won't forget how to do them will you? I can't wait to see what you make with them!
ReplyDeleteYeeeaaah! You made it! Stubborn is good! I'd say determined! LOL Lovely warm colours! And I love the new background too!
ReplyDeleteDear Stubborn - I love the colours!
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear you've been poorly. I assume you are a bit better if you've been faffing with triangles!
My Mum and Mum-in-law had cataracts and both swear by the little op with lasers. MIL went to play with her knitting wool as soon as she took the bandages off. She couldn't believe how bright the colours were - they'd faded so slowly she didn't realise.
Glad you got it figured out!
ReplyDeleteHope you're feeling better too.
Ummmmm can I just say.....ok never mind. lol
