Christmas Quiltalong progress

It's evening here now, and I've stopped for dinner.  I should have had roast turkey and Christmas pud I guess, but we had Spaghetti Carbonnara which was yummy.
I've sewn half the rows for my on my quilt and have started to sew those rows together.

 I've made the second of my star blocks too.

Now I think I'm going to work on bindings.

  1. Your blocks look great. I love your colors, but I visited a blogger who used purple, pink and cream and the star looked great, too. This quilt design is a nice one for choosing whatever colors we want to use.

  2. I'm getting tired just looking at how much you have done today {smile}

    Hope the first joint QAL went well, sorry I couldn't join you.

  5. Spaghetti works for me. We just had a fried chicken lunch. Not turkey but close.

  8. You are busy as always! I've never done Drunkard's Path blocks, looks like lot of fun. Star blocks look nice too. You're working on a Christmas present?! Gosh, I can't even think of Christmas right now! :))

  9. I like your Drunkard's Path, and your star blocks, too. And the picture of you neatly sewn binding makes me wish I had a project ready to hand-sew the binding on. That's probably my favorite part! It really begins to feel like a quilt.

  10. My, you got a lot accomplianced today! You are an inspiration to me! All I got done is picked out my fabric from my stash, and tonight I am pressing my fabric and cutting it, tomorrow I am sewing. Today was a much too pretty day to stay indoors. I stay outside playing in the dirt and pruning my rose bushes!!

  12. I didn't even get a chance to go into my sewing room yesterday!
    Late on in the evening I did get to knit a little, and it is a gift, just not for Christmas. LOL

  13. I think that your stars are very luxurious looking too - that midnight blue fabric is gorgeous.

    Thanks again for the QAL - I'll be casting a critical eye over my block and maybe resewing one of the seams, then I'm doing the second one. No outdoor distractions today - it's raining.
