You'd think I had enough experience to check before I cut when I'm using a striped fabric wouldn't you? Not much else I can say really.

ReplyDeleteOpps! I think they both would look good clearly the horizontal one has one under pretty. But I have to say it this looks like a bear of a block pattern!

I like it!!! Adds a bit of quirkiness and alot of interest. Please consider leaving it Sue unless of course it's for a future book.....oh heck, leave it anyways LOL!
ReplyDeleteI just did the same thing while cutting half-square triangles. Just cut another set exactly the same. Then you can have two blocks.

ReplyDeleteI have a friend that makes a mistake in every quilt on purpose. Most of the time it takes a long time to find....so maybe this could be your on purpose mistake....LOL

I have done that plenty of times, that's why I try NOT to use directional fabric!
