Shall we say "messy"?

... When I worked, I had to have a tidy, almost empty desk to work on, so wouldn't you think it'd be the same when I sew?  Wonder what happened?

  2. I always have a mess when I'm working on something. It just seems to go with the process.

  3. Sewing is quite different than having a work desk. Looks like you were being productive. Can't wait to see the end result.

  5. Hmm, I don't think that's a mess ..... I'm not sure you can do mess, even if you try!

Are you making another quilt with those lovely curved templates?

  7. Nothing wrong with having a little bit of mess. Though when things get too messy, I don't enjoy being in my sewing room at all as I can't find anything.

  8. I like starting clean, making a mess while I construct, then cleaning up to do it all again!

  10. I am the same way. However, I did have someone tell me that if I leave my desk at work messy (while working) that people will think I'm busier.

  11. Well quilting often begets it's own mess. Besides I use the excuse that I clean when I'm done. ;-)
