Oh Sue losing so embody we love is so hard on our hearts yet we find peace in knowing she went home. She will be there waiting to greet the rest of us one day. Blessings.
Well written Sue. Sorry I haven't commented before, devil of a time getting online right now, but that's nothing compared to what Sewali's lovely OH and her family are dealing with.
Our day out at Harlow Carr was a very special one. As I drove Ali and I back to your home we spotted two Red Kites hovering over the road. You know what keen birders Ali and OH are so that was something to remember. On my next birthday she sent a beautiful card which was a painting of a Red Kite - and by then she knew she was ill. When I thanked her for the card she said "I knew you'd remember our drive back from Harlow Carr".
My sincere condolences to you and your friends on the passing of your friend Ali. What a loss you must feel. There is a special kindred spirit we quilters have with one another. I am praying for you as you grieve this loss! {hugs}
So sorry, Sue, thinking of you...
