Production line ...

Previously, as I worked on my Country Charmer quilt, I have been cutting the fabrics for one block at a time, but today I changed my process.  I've now every single piece cut for all the remaining blocks.  All I have to hope now is that I don't lose any pieces.

Now my legs and back are killing me and I'm looking forward to a night in front of the television with my feet up.

  1. Cutting out a quilt is my least favorite part of the process. Congratulations! Now you have that all taken care of. You can chain piece and whip it out in no time. (grin)

  2. Good for you! I am impressed...and I may just follow your example. Choosing fabrics and cutting the pieces always takes me way too long. I like your idea!

  3. Sorry Sue, but I can't do that, (would love to) as my back and hands won't let me anymore. Hubby is going to one day make me a better cutting table at the right height. Good luck with the sewing. I'm only making 3 for a table runner and have the first one sewn and another cut out. See my blog for a photo.

  4. Lost pieces at my house are usually found under the bed. Darn cat! Luckily she was not interested in the smaller block pieces. She is having a grand time with the strips for the 9 patch and sashing. Double Darn Cat!

  6. Yikes, that's some cutting marathon. Hope you are able to keep all the pieces for each block separate. Would be way too frustrating if the corner bits for one block ended up with the centre of another ...
