... you asked for it. You said I was to open it up, so here it is ...
I hope you like it?
Now, I'd like to be serious for a moment. (Yes, I can be serious occasionally.) I was thinking about the November Quiltalong today. If it's on the second Saturday of the month, which will be 13 November, that's just a week before Thanksgiving I believe. Is that a bad time for you people in the US, should we re-schedule it, say for this weekend instead? Please let me know what you think, and I'll go with the majority. You really don't want to miss this one as I've got all sorts of fun things planned, and there'll be a competition, door prizes and of course this stunning "grand prize".
Edited to add picture of said Grand Prize:
Don't forget, anyone can join in, just let me know your taking part by putting your name on the Mr Linky thingamebob that I put on the blog first thing in the morning. I have been lucky enough to have a lot of new visitors and followers lately, so if you're interested, you can read more about it here. Remember, this is the final Christmas Quiltalong of the year.
PS There's still plenty of time to enter my giveaway, here.
That's very thoughtful of you and great for the girls in the USA. Typical, however; at present Management has plans to be out all day on the 13th and I thought I might, for once, be able to sew with you on the correct day . . . don't suppose we could have two Quilt-a-longs, could we?

Thanksgiving is November 25th, so the 13th is probably okay for most of us. Either of those Saturdays is good for me. I look forward to it. Thanks for thinking of us here in the U.S.
ReplyDeleteThe 13th is fine...;-D
ReplyDeleteThe quilting in your fall leaves quilt is wonderful!
ReplyDeleteThe 13th is great for me! I want to get that table topper done!
ReplyDeleteOh---and thanks for thinking of us across the pond gals!
ReplyDeleteStill teasing Paulette along with the rest of us aren't ya! You sneaky devil...love it! I might get to play this weekend with you all....depends if DH goes on his hike as planned. This weekend right? Did I read that correctly? Heck, even if it was the weekend before Thanksgiving I don't live near relatives or the like to worry about needing to go for family visits...but I know many who do.
ReplyDeleteYou are such a tease! The 6th is better for me, but I'll stitch with you on either day. Thanks for checking.
ReplyDeleteFOLLOWING YOU!

That weekend is still better for me. I don't know about the Saturday but as Mal and Gem are away on the Sunday that's when I'll definitely be sewing.
ReplyDeleteLove and hugs Gina xxx
This weekend is better for me, going to a 70th birthday party on the 13th, but, hey, I can always squeeze a little in the evening!
ReplyDeleteSince I just found your blog, I'm brand new to this Quilt along thing. How exactly does it work? I may like to join in
