My stupidest ever question ...

 ... so there we were, Bilbo and I, chatting on the telephone after she rang me.  Remember that, it's important.

Bilbo:  I'm just emailing you my new mobile number as we speak.
Me:    OK, got that.  Have you got my number?

There was then a deafening silence from Bilbo, followed by a question of her own:

Bilbo: What are you holding up to your ear right now?
Me: Oh yeah .......

See what I mean?  Probably the most stupid question I ever asked.

    LOL :) Brain farts...that's what happens sometimes! I've done the same thing many times..my kids tease me that it's early senility lol!

    Whoo hoo, only one more sleep. Has anyone arranged Strepsils? If we talk and laugh even half as much as usual we will all have sore throats before we're half way through the weekend?

    I did that once....my daughters fiancé was in Iraq and going to call on a specific night and we were all going to a family friends for a special dinner that same night. We could get call transferring to their house, but that cost money....so I called my friend and told her what was going on and asked if I could bring my phone over to her house.......there was dead silence. And she said sure and started to laugh.......and we still laugh about it......

    My husband once called me at home to ask me to bring his cell phone out to the street, he was going to drive by and pick it up because he had forgotten it...of course, he was calling me from his cell phone.. priceless!

    Ok, so the more I get to know you the more I believe we are truly alike. How often have you looked for your cell phone while talking on it. I have done that more than once.
