Poor me …

... I am suffering with a kidney infection at the moment.  Yesterday I managed to get an appointment at the doctors and was given  a prescription for some pills.

I was warned that there are side effects.

  • headache – yep
  • dizziness – yep
  • nausea – yep
  • pins and needles – yep
  • various others -yep, they weren't kidding
Classic case of the cure being worse than the illness if you ask me.

    Ohhh NOOOO!! Poor you is right!! Hang in there...think of the cure and not the process that it takes to get there!! Get well...FAST!

    Oh Sue! I'm so sorry to hear that you're feeling so badly and that the cure is worse than the bit so to speak. I've had a kidney infection before and I definitely didn't have that reaction. Is there an alternative med that would work but wouldn't half kill you in the process? Hugs!

    I'm so sorry to hear you're under the weather. I've had a few kidney infections myself, so I know they are awful. I hope you're feeling better soon.

    Hopefully you'll be over it soon and won't have to take the pills. Maybe the side effects will lesson or disappear with time!

    So sorry to hear you are feeling bad. My DIL is having the same thing and yes, she's having the same side effects. No fun! I hope you get better quickly!

    Hubby brought home a cold, and shared it. I think it mutated before getting to me. I pulled rib muscles(?) and was so medicated I could not tell what felt worse. Being sick or being sick and medicated. Finally over it and VERY VERY happy.

    Oh no, sometimes it's better not to know about the side effects, I'm sure it brings some of them on! Hope you feel better soon and don't have to take the pills for too long.
