.... I don't recall anyone telling me this was going to happen today.
I thought we'd seen the end of the snow for this year.
Oh well, it did make me so fed up that I decided to sit and ignore it and do my tax return instead. Wish I hadn't bothered with that now, I seem to owe him money again.
Perhaps tomorrow will be a better day?
Looks like a good reason to stay inside to me..
ReplyDeleteWe were supposed to have it today but it looks like it got lost on the way. Lucky us
ReplyDeleteLove and hugs Gina xxx
It´s been raining all da here.Guess snow is still better than rain.
ReplyDeleteWell anyways...good you got your taxes out of the way, I did that on New Years Day :-))
And of course tomorrow will be better - just think, in case the weather stays bad you can sew all day.
I could have taken the snow but I could have gone all day long without hearing about taxes....
ReplyDeleteDoing taxes is the worst way to spend a day. I'll be doing them next month, and I don't want to think about it.
ReplyDeleteI wasn't expecting snow either but tax return filling seems a bit of an extreme reaction!!
ReplyDeleteThat is so beautiful! Gave me a little cold shiver, but awfully pretty!!!
ReplyDeleteWell sounds like you have had an exciting day, snow and tax return doesn't get much better than that!! Just been watching "Look North" so seen the snow, well you just keep it up there please, its been really mild today, wet, but mild, I don't want anymore snow this year thank you!!
ReplyDeleteYewwww! Snow and taxes! Now that is taxing! LOL At least you can put your feet up and relax and sew all you like now :)
ReplyDeleteYikes! We have tons of snow too and it just keeps falling! It's a great day to be in and practicing my swirls! :-)
ReplyDeleteI told hubby we would work on that last night - I didn't, I quilted instead. So you know I'll be working on it this weekend!
ReplyDeletesnow AND a tax return, how thoroughly depressing!
ReplyDeleteWhat's the odds on this: word verification is wooff !!!!!!!
Dreadful weather here too, Sue. I think that I can match you on the depressing day front - I slipped & fell headlong in the slush this morning, then spent this afternoon trying to fill in a complicated pensions tax relief form...
ReplyDeleteIt was a shock to the system as it started while I was at work (in Wakefield) and thinking "I hope it doesn't snow so much I can't get home". Fortunately by the afternoon it turned wetter and slushier. A promise next week of warmer temperatures - better get the summer clothes out - lol!
ReplyDeleteEXACTLY!! It surprised us too on Tuesday, we were suppose to have rain and 2" of snow later....and we were suppose to have snow from last night through tomorrow...well, I haven't seen a flake!?! LOL I think the weathermen are a bit flakey right now---when is spring?
ReplyDeleteI'm not even going look at taxes til February! YIKES!
I'm sending you some of the +30C we have here in Mauritius these day - it'll melt it away! :) Enjoy doing your tax return! Never fun!
ReplyDeleteWishing you a wonderful weekend!
Keep warm my dear. All those quilts would come in handy at this time - Hugs Nat
ReplyDeleteYou certaining have been getting more than your share! Hope it comes to an end really soon!
ReplyDeleteI like snow so I would be happy - great sewing weather. Not so much the tax return, but you'll feel very virtuous when it's done, even if you owe him money. I did mine early this year because he owed me!
ReplyDeleteLet's hope you don't owe the tax man every time it snows!
ReplyDeleteI'm in Florida so a little snow would be appreciated.
we have snow here too - but it was so glittery and pretty this morning before the sun came up.
ReplyDeleteIt's really beautiful, but I wouldn't want to have to leave home!
ReplyDeleteI woke up to a fresh covering of snow this morning too. Lucky for us though it is supposed to clear out the Salt Lake City yuck that lays heavy in the air. That heavy sludge is so hard to breathe! But, this year still isn't as bad as last for that! Good news--it's movie day today! True Grit!
