This is my last post for today, as it's now after 9 pm and I'm getting tired. This is what I have been doing today in place of what I had planned. Considering I don't usually do this sort of thing, it's not looking too bad. Course, when I have to do things like embroidering the eyes, I might not feel quite so pleased with myself!
Thank you all for coming to my party. I hope you've had a good time.
Oh, so cute. I have been prepping wool projects the last two days. I am assuming yours is wool. Your snowmen are roly poly. That was a good substitute project in place of your quilt that you were going to make.
ReplyDeleteCowabunga!
ReplyDeleteOops. Sorry - are they snowmen?? I thought they were ninja turtles (although on reflection, not your first choice of needlecraft?)
Teehee!
PS stitching is incredibly uniform - even under magnified scrutiny! :)
PS when the American girls say 'wool', do they mean what we know as 'felt'?
ReplyDeleteIt's a candle mat, right? And it has polar bears around it. I haven't made one yet, but I always love the ones I see. I think it's very nice.
ReplyDeleteSooo cute@
ReplyDeleteThanks for today, Sue,after joining in ,I now have the binding all done and a finished quilt !! Hope the back/hip is feeling better.

Almost forgot - is it one of those 'oriental' pincushions? I had one years ago with little pigtailed figures around the edge.........AJ
ReplyDeletethanks for hosting Sue, sorry you didn't get to do what you planned. I'm going to crack on with mine today, though having seen the other Glace project, I'm kind of wishing I'd done that pattern now ...
ReplyDeleteI've never worked with wool at all. Did you like it?
ReplyDeleteI am hoping to give a try to using felt/wool on projects how did you find it to work with
