Yesterday I went to an all day meeting of the Yorkshire Modern Quilt Guild, where I finished off Red Sprinkles, so here is a photo of it
and a close-up of the bubbly quilting design I chose.
I've never used this pattern before, but I love it and also I used a rayon thread which Big Bertha loved -no skips or tension issues at all.
PS Thanks Paula B for your lovely comment about my trip. I'm sorry I couldn't reply as you are a no-reply blogger.
Oh, this is pretty!! I think circles (bubbles) work beautifully on this. OOOOOO - excited for you.
ReplyDeleteI love Red Sprinkles! The bubble pattern and sprinkles remind me of a champagne toast on New Year's Eve.
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful trip! Wish I could be there ... maybe next time.
Love this quilt! Ad the quilting is perfect too! :). Have a fabulous time! Safe journey x
ReplyDeleteI love your Sprinkles. Enjoy your trip.
ReplyDeleteCan you believe the time has arrived?!?!? I'm making lists of things to pack, not only for us but the 8 ladies, 9 counting Maecee, who are traveling with us. As much goat "stuff" to pack as actual goats!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great quilt, love red and white combos, but the quilting really sets it off. Have a lovely trip, look forward to your show and tell when you get home!
ReplyDeleteI love Red Sprinkles. I hope you have a safe trip and enjoy every minute of it. Happy Trails!
ReplyDeleteLove the Red Sprinkles quilt and the quilting certainly makes it. I only said last night to hubby, that you were probably packed and sitting on your suitcase, not being able to sleep as you were so excited. I think I got that wrong.
ReplyDeleteSafe journey sweetie, and have a wonderful trip :}
