We had a great Christmas, with lots of family time, food, laughter, etc. I think we're getting old though, cos last night we could barely keep our eyes open long enough to see in the new year! We did manage to stay awake long enough to watch the firework display from London on the TV and it was fantastic.
Happy New Year to you and yours, Sue!
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year to you too, Sue! I hope it brings you lots of happiness and good health. Hugs!
ReplyDeleteYou did better than us! We were in bed for 11.00pm....Couldn't stay awake to watch fireworks, it would have been 1.00am for us - and I am definitely too old for that now!!!! Happy New Year.
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year to you, too. Hey, Blogger is finally letting me comment on your post. I have been trying for the last couple of weeks!

ReplyDeleteHappy New Year to you too! Congratulations for staying up until midnight.
ReplyDeleteHad a perfect evening - invited out to dinner by neighbours (no driving, no cooking!) with strict instructions on the written invitation that NO-ONE had to stay until 12.00. Wandered home tired but happy whilst 2011 was on its last legs and was not the first to leave {smile}
Our Christmas was great too with a couple of the kids and their families here. New Years Eve found me in bed before all the fireworks tho. I did hear them tho.
