Can any one help ....

... my friend Nancie?

She's mislaid her mind and can't remember where she put it.  It seems that about a week or so back, she was whiling away some time on the computer, looking at quilts, like you do, and she saw a quilt that she fell in love with.  Apparently, it had granny square blocks in the centre, with a border of hexie flowers.  Unfortunately, she didn't take note of where she saw this masterpiece, and now can't find it.  Does anyone know where Nancie might find this quilt again, and hopefully find her mind at the same time?

PS Don't forget my fabulous fabrics giveaway, here.

  1. There is a free pattern for "Almost a Flower Garden" quilt on the Robert Kaufmann site here: http://www.robertkaufman.com/quilting/quilts_patterns/almost_a_flower_garden/

  3. I took a stab at this last week but the pattern I found wasn't the one Nancie saw. I wonder if her online history would show her where she visited.

  4. I just got my McCall's Quilting magazine an there was an add for a pattern by Darlene Zimmerman called"Grandma's Garden". I said download the free pattern on www.robertkaufman.com The hexies in this ad were a printed pannel, but it was very pretty. Hope this is a help.

  6. Her Internet browser should have a History tab so if its about a week ago she may be able to find the websites she's looked at where the quilt was. If she finds it bookmark it, that way she won't lose it again, at least not for a while

  7. Thanks Everyone! The Robert Kaufman quilt is definitely the one I saw...thank you so much for guiding me back to it...However...I've also come to the conclusion that Sue may have been correct afterall! I may have been designing in my sleep! Somewhere in my minds eye there is one very similar...the Hexie flowers are offset creating sort of a rick-rack garden around the border and it has reds in it & was photographed in a booth or guild settting! I think I'm going to bust out the graph paper soon! Upon my return to work I had backtracked my browsing history to no avail. I least I know now that I'm only partially out of my mind! What a relief!!!!!

  8. Did your friend try the "history" part of her internet searching to go back to sites she has been on?
