A finish!

I did say that when I had finished this quilt, I would post a photograph, so here it is:
Sheila's Christmas Braids.

This was actually the first quilt I made using a jelly roll, and from then on I have loved using them.  I quilted it with an all-over pattern, as you can see in this photo:

  5. I recognise some Moda fabrics in there, bet it is lovely and soft - I have used some of that material and it has a lovely 'hand'.

Hope Sheila appreciates what a truly splendid Christmas present she is getting!

Quilt Hollow and Lynn are right - finished is good, must see if I can get some tops finished before the end of the year.

  6. Oh yes, that looks great, I can't think what else you could do apart from an all-over pattern, it's a fairly random design. I'm also a jelly roll addict :o).

  9. I love the unique layout of this braid quilt. I have a braid on my to do list and I even have a Jelly Roll to use. The Moda Bake shop has a cute little Braid pattern I might use for mine.
