Here I am......

....... back again.  I've been rather quiet for a few days I know, but I'm here now.  I thought you'd like to hear about my weekend.

On Saturday I went over to Ten-Ton-Tessie's mummy and daddy for the day.  I was going to try and help them get to grips with using some software we both have for digitising our own quilting designs and also to look at some tops they had and work out what to quilt on them.  Well, we did a bit of the UFO-planning, then we hasd a lovely lasagne for lunch.  After that we looked at the tops that they have quilted since they got Tessie, talked about some more tops and it was time for me to come home.  We must have talked too much, so the digitisin part of the day didn't happen!  perhaps we'll do better next time?

Yesterday was the Knitting and Stitching show in Harrogate.  Mrs PennyPot and I went to that.  We were both very disappointed with it this year.  The only quilt we saw was made up from flattened beer-cans.  The show was £12 entrance, which is a lot too.  We spent a couple of hours there and then left and went to a nearby hotel where we had a lovely bar-meal.  Next year, we decided, we'll skip the show, just go to lunch.  (Mind you, we "do" lunch quite often, even without that excuse!)

And where are the photos, I hear you ask? Well, guess what?  I forgot my camera both days!

Dear Father Christmas,

Please could you bring me a new, working, memory for Christmas?

Thank you.

  9. Hmm, £12 for what is not the biggest show in the world - FoQ wasn't that much, was it?

You don't want it, honestly, take advantage of the forgetfullness - "sorry darling, I forgot to cook your dinner, iron your shirts, make those important and horrible phone calls that you are avoiding". You know, you could work this to your advantage!
