and the winners are ................

................. randomly generatedby, although I still can't work out how to show the results on here, so please trust me.

There were 8 entries in the quiz, and the winner was the 3rd entry I received, Joanna of Needle, Thread, Happiness.

The winner of my "door prize" was no 6, Elizabeth fromSand and Sunshine.  This prize was generously donated by Quilters Haven, when I was placing another order and happened to mention the Christmas Quiltalong.  Wasn't that lovely of them?  Do pop over and have a look at their website, they have some great stuff there, and they are sooo quick.  I placed an online order at about 11 am one morning, had an email at 2 pm to say it had been despatched, and received it the next day.

Then, just because it was my party, so I can do these sort of things, I picked another winner too, who was no 14, Midge from Soggibottom.

Later on today I will do another post as I want to tell you about my friend's entry in SewCalGal's Pets on Quilts Show.

I also have to show you a MOST exciting parcel that arrived just now from Canada.

  1. Congrats to the winners, and have fun with the Christmas sewing!

  2. Congratulations to everyone. I think you are all winners - you got to sew!

  3. I'm a winner really? How exciting. Thank you so much for putting this together Sue. Now I have to go check out our sponsor!

  4. Thank you..... I really enjoyed the day. Except next time, I will be more prepared. :-) Yes, you bet I'll be back. Great fun :-) x x x

  5. I'm a winner, too? I'm so happy. Saturday was a fun day, and as I said, the sewing, recipes, and Chipmunks put me into a Christmas mood, not easy in August! Thanks, Sue. I love the community of crafters that are part of the qal.

  6. Congratulations to the winners.

I love Quilters Haven. The Batik BOM I'm doing is from them.

    Love and hugs Gina xxx
